Study Hall Educational Foundation
Founded in 1986, Study Hall (SH) was started in response to a concern - the quality of education offered in the so called "high quality" private schools. Study Hall is a child-centric school where children are treated with respect and care, taught with a child-responsive interactive pedagogy that enables the development of creativity, critical thinking skills and a social and political consciousness. From the beginning, the school's purpose has been to relate education to real life experiences of students and their existential queries. It enables children to learn the intrinsic values of life, beyond the traditional textbook knowledge and information. SH fosters collaboration between teachers, children and parents, as co-mentors of the entire education process of an individual. We believe in creating nurturing and caring schools.
